Keith has 20 years’ experience in Project Finance during which he has fulfilled a wide variety of advisory and lending roles to the oil and gas sector, specialising in reserve-based lending.

With a focus on Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Keith has led transaction teams executing large scale cross border financings using multiple funding sources including commercial bank markets and multilateral/bilateral agencies.

Notable transactions include;

• Advised Circle Oil Plc in a successful transaction that raised US$100m secured on   portfolio of producing oil & gas assets located in Egypt and Morocco;
• Advisor to Svenska Petroleum in respect to raising development finance for the Baobab oil field located 25km offshore Ivory Coast in 500 metres;
• Arranger on the $400 million reserve based offshore development loan to fund PGNiG’s interest in the $3 billion Skarv FPSO-based oil & gas development located 80km offshore Norway in 350 metres of water;
• Arranger for a $600 million structured financing for TOTAL Gabon’s Anguille oil field located 20km offshore Gabon in 30 metres water depth;
• Advised JBIC and NEXI in respect to the $2.1 billion project financing for the Sohar Refinery in the Sultanate of Oman; and
• Arranger for the $3.7 billion greenfield ERC refinery in Egypt.

Keith has held senior project finance roles at KBC, Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi and Credit Lyonnais. Keith has worked closely with IFC, JBIC/NEXI, SACE, COFACE and  EXIM. As part of his responsibilities at KBC, Keith has acted as executive director of a wholly owned independent oil and gas company that is developing frontier discoveries in  the US which are expected to come into production later this year.

Keith holds a Masters in Business Administration from City University Business School (now Cass Business School).
