Geoff has 20 years experience in project finance advisory and lending roles covering a wide range of power, oil & gas and mining assignments in both developing and developed markets. During a varied banking career he has worked for major project finance houses (Chemical Bank, ANZ Investment Bank and HSBC) and as an independent consultant.

Acting in an independent advisory capacity, Geoff has continued to work on a broad spectrum of geographies and sectors. Notable transactions include advising GDF Suez on two successful bids for 740MW power projects in the Sultanate of Oman, advising the Ex-Im Bank of the United States on major power projects in India and a refinery expansion project in Colombia, financial adviser for Siemens Project Ventures GmbH’s divestment of a 500MW power project in Pakistan, leading the advisory team on Tata & Sons’ $2.5bn greenfield project in Bangladesh covering primary steel, fertilizer, coal mining and power and advising on the acquisition of a 120MW power project in Ireland.

Geoff has a BSc(Eng) in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, London and a Masters of Science in Business Administration from Boston University.
